Police: Tragic Accident Killed Father

Police charged a 17-year-old boy with reckless homicide on Tuesday after he allegedly loaded a 22-caliber rifle wrong and shot a man in the chest.
Police said that Quayjuan English was improperly handling a loaded rifle when it discharged and shot David Rivers in the chest at his Genessee Avenue home.
Rivers, 26, was pronounced dead a short time after the shooting at the North Linden home, 10TV's Ashleigh Barry reported.
"I just (saw) him laying right there, blood everywhere and I'm screaming," said Crystal Caldwell, the mother of two of Rivers' children.
Caldwell said that she held pressure on Rivers' bleeding neck until medics arrived.
English, 17, was being held at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.
