Teen arrested for making bomb threat at school

A 13-year-old boy is arrested for making a bomb threat at Ferguson Junior High School

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio – Police have arrested an eighth-grader at Ferguson Junior High School on charges of making a bomb threat against the school.  The school was evacuated Tuesday morning after he posted the threat on Facebook.
The 13-year-old is charged with inducing panic, and is held in the Greene County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Facebook page said that a bomb would go off at 9:30 a.m.  The posting was noticed by a parent at 8:45 a.m. and that parent called the school.
Once the building was emptied, police did a search and found nothing.
The teen admitted to officers that he made the threat and did it while he was bored.  The incident remains under investigation.
